Reservoir Dogs

1h 39m Crime, Drama, Thriller, Captioned 1992

Resembling Kubrick’s The Killing more than anything else, _Reservoir Dogs _ tells the story, largely in flashback, of a jewellery robbery undertaken by a gang of colour-coded (to keep them from knowing each other’s names) criminals, and its bloody aftermath.

With a host of great performances, particularly from Tim Roth and Steve Buscemi, and an excellent script, Tarantino cleverly engineers the gang’s downfall around the character flaws of the individuals concerned, producing a witty, intelligent, dialogue driven, often very violent and utterly involving example of the genre.
